this monitor was all fine when plugged into my 7800gt, running at 2560x1600, but just now after conneccting to the conns on my new gainward 7950gx2 - the display is unusable at its proper res. when windows boots up, i can see things ok, same when i lower the res in windows. but running full res on either dvi port gives me this:

sorry about the size, dont have a prog to edit the pic at the mo.
i know the image looks weird but thats what i get in windows. its not the monitor, or the cable. the g.card should support duallink dvi
tried diff dvi port - same thing
tried diff forceware drivers - same thing
tried on a CRT - perfect.
can only assume its the drivers/scaling but no idea why
anyone seen this before?
