I brought my old computer out of storage for my brother to use at a LAN party. It's a Compaq AMD Athlon 1500+ Geforce MX 400 Windows XP
I plug it into the monitor, and when I start it up I get garbage on the screen. Once it boots to windows, you can sort of read the text, but it looks like the screens been sliced and is all out of order.
I know it's not the monitor because I tried it with 3 different ones at the LAN party.
It was working just fine before I put it in storage. The only thing I did to it before I put it away, was taking the hard drive out and slaving it to my new one so I could copy files. When I put it back in I made sure to switch it back to master.
Blah, any ideas? Think something might of happened when I slaved it to my new comp?
