Display Problem

Hi,
I'm having some trouble with my video display. My current monitor is LG 995E(19&quot😉 and I am current have flickering and blank display problems during System Boot Up. Windows(98SE) is fine in 1028x768 but anything under that resolution and the display will blink in and out. I know it's not the refresh rate setting because I have it at adapter default or 60hz. I tested it under two 14" generic monitors and 1 displays just fine and the other one fizzy in and out during boot up also. I've also tested my LG with another system and it displays fine. I've called Hercules tech support and they said something about how my mobo/video/Monitor might not be in sync. I've read that the old Ka7 and the Geforce 2's were having some problems. So I was wondering if anyone might have hear of this problem or have any information to shed some light on this.
Here's the mobo/monitor/video card info.
Athlon 700
Ka7 Mobo -- Ka7ty Bios
Hercules Prophet Geforce 32 Meg (6.31 Drivers)
LG 19" 995E

Thanks in Advance.

Try installing latest LG Monitor drivers, sorry I see you have tried changing the refresh rate, make sure V-sync is enabled.
