Display problem with WIN98

Hello Everyone,

this could be a stumper. Okay, I finally just got around to installing Windows 98. I have a Voodoo 3 3000 with a Micron 17" monitor (ViewSonic knockoff). When installed Win98 with all the drivers and everything, my resolution is stuck at 640x480. I have installed all the right drivers and have updated to the most recent. I have also tried reinstalling Win98, yet I am still stuck in 640x480. I can adjust up to 32bit colour, but what good does that do with this aweful resolution. Anyone have any ideas? Could it be a bios problem ?

Thanks

try uninstalling your video driver (set it to standard vga), reboot then reinstall your voodoo card drivers

if you have the current V3 drivers, then it might be your monitor. did you install the correct monitor driver?

Make sure you've installed the correct drivers for your monitor. If you don't have any, use Windows's standard monitor types.
