Well I reported this problem in my previous topic, but really was off topic...lol

Nway here it goes, I've been experiencing this bug for quite sometime now. Sometimes when i quit my games the system doesn't fully restore my desktop. I can only see a black screen and the mouse cursor. I can move the mouse cursor and hear the music playin' (cuz somtimes i play my games while winamp is on...).

I'm using a 7800GT with the latest drivers.

Any ideas?
 
What are the rest of your specs? Did you have an ATI card before you're 7800GT? Did you notice it with other drivers? When you say the latest drivers, do you mean the beta 91.45's? That could be a multitude of things and we really need more information before we can find out what exactly might be the problem.

Kingston valueram PC3200 1GB x2
Sony DVD writter
Creative X-Fi Platinum
logitech wireless keyboard and mouse.

Well i din't have any ATI card before... And come to think of it, i think i din't experience such behavior before updating the drivers. The drivers that i'm using now r 91.3x ( it's not the beta version...lol)
