Display goes black while playing games

After about a minute into any of the "higher" demanding games such as GTA:SA and KOTOR, my monitor just goes black meaning that the vid card isn't sending a signal to my monitor anymore. I know this because my lcd monitor keeps switching from analog and digital searching for a signal. So I'm guessing its my video card or possibly my ram by some chance.

Specs
Athlon m-2400+ @ 1.8
XFX Geforce 6600gt AGP (idles at 65C)
1gb of Kingmax Ram @ 200mhz

your power supply isnt feeding your card enough juice..

let me guess, the pc stays on but no video?

Also make sure that the Video Card isnt sharing a molex w/ a Hardrive or cd rom, it should have its own seperate connection to the psu. Even lights/fans will cause the above to happen.

Yup, the computer stays on. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll be sure to check into that.
