Display flickers (pixels change colors), computer reebots.

Hey guys, this JUST started happening.

I built my computer this past January, so I would hope the problem doesn't lie with any of the newer components. I put an athlon 64 3200+ (winchester) and a neo2 platinum along with a gig of mushkin valuRAM. Now, my HD is a few years old. I think I got in 2001 and it's been reformatted about 3 times. More importantly, my PSU is a...lemme see here....350W "TigerPro". There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to the rebooting. CPU and GPU temps are fine. Individual pixels in the display will turn a single color (pink, yellow, white, etc), in a clump. Or it'll happen in vertical or horizontal lines going up and down the monitor. It seems to happen alot when I'm playing videos. Sometimes it'll reboot and sometimes the problem will rectify itself and I can continue to do what I was doing? Anyone have an idea what could be doing this?

Please list full specs. If you have a higher end video card that you are using with that generic PSU that would be my first suspect, not that I would want to use that PSU anyway..could also be a heat issue.

Shawn130c..if you are using a powmax PSU I advise you to replace it as soon as you possibly can..they are one of the lowest quality PSU's made and tend to take out other components with them when they go..I know this from first had experience..

Sounds like the video card is overheating, or like they suggested, lacking in proper power. If the video card has a fan, make sure that it is still turning and isn't clogged with dust, that could easily cause it to overheat and flake out like that.
