Display flickering in 4K

My display flickers every few seconds when I set the display to 4K at 60Hz. I'm using Monoprice HDMI Premium Certified cables in Windows 10 with a GTX 960.

Switching to 4:2:0 fixes the problem, switching to 30Hz fixes the problem. What can I do?

Try another HDMI cable? High speed one.

960 only supports HDMI 2.0. I don't think it can handle that bandwidth no matter the cable. I'd switch to displayport.

HDMI 2.0 supports 4K at 60Hz.

Not 4:4:4 if you go up to 10bit. Since you didn't say what display you're using....

Would the Nvidia driver even allow me to do that if it isn't supported by the GPU? How would I know if I'm using 10-bit?

Hard to say. Displayport is always more robust than HDMI anyway. I'd always go to displayport if I could.
