Have you tried any gaming with it yet? Is it a homebuilt PC or did you buy it from Dell/HP/etc? Does this happen when you do anything else, or just when you watch 6-7 youtube videos at the same time?

You wouldn't have this driver issue if you went with big Green.

ATI and CCC will give you hell,,, THere is a simple fix for this.

Boot PC and press F8 keep on pressing and go into Safe Mode ,,,, then uninstall the ATI drivers and CCC junk. Reboot go into normal mode and install latest WHQL ATI Cat drivers. Let us know.. gl

Explain the excessive sound. How do you know it is coming out of the CPU? What do you mean by something speedy?

Display driver crashing is also happening with nVidia cards.

What say you now?

<-2x 560 Ti 2gb (SLI/NV Surround (2D))
driver crashes periodically when doing desktop stuff. No pattern to it other than that (Nvidia cites IE9/Firefox, I do use firefox half the time).

In fact, the 280/285 series has been some of the worst drivers I've seen out of "big green."
They work great and add a lot of performance for some games, but I've had a few games where performance just drops.

Hell, latest 285.79 beta, I dropped in framerate huge in BF3.
latest WHQL drivers I get a rock-solid 60fps (vsync) on Ultra settings at 1080p (no Deferred AA though, and dropped World Mesh to "High"). Latest beta drivers, I was seeing 30s. Just rolled back to the WHQL drivers, here's to hoping my framerate is back to where it should be.
