display driver issue

hey guys i have a gigabyte gtx 560 ti. and recently iv been getting an error message saying the "display driver has stopped responding and has recovered itself" the card the factory OC and i never had an issue with the card until I installed Dead island. i get this message even when i am not playing games and just surfing the web.

do you guys have any suggestions before i format my pc. i have the latest drivers for the card. so i am not sure what the issue is now. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!:'(

Dude... you were given suggestions in the other thread. Perhaps we weren't explicit enough:

1. Download the 275 WHQL drivers from the nvidia website.
2. Download Driver Sweeper, and install it.
3. Uninstall the most recent drivers.
4. Boot into safe mode and run Driver Sweeper, instructing it to remove anything to do with nvidia display.
5. Reboot and install 275 drivers.

I was experiencing the same driver crash after updating to the 280.26 and the more recent betas. Never had the problem when I was running 275, so I'm hoping this will work. So far so good for me...
