When Playing Far Cry 2 I get that message after the game randomly quits. I haven't started another game yet.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure why anyone would ask for help while running their card outside of its rated spec.

Is there anything else you're overclocking that you're not telling us?

Ah sorry, I misunderstood you then. My apologies. 🙁

What are your GPU temps like?
What is your PSU?
Have you patched the game to the latest version?
Have you updated your GPU drivers?

Right now (no gaming or anything graphic intensive going on) its at 70 C (according to Catalyst). PSU is a SILVERSTONE DA700 700W. The game is patched to the latest and my driver was up to date and I still had issues. Oddly enough, I downloaded the 9.1 driver and windows still reports it as 8.57.

Wow! That's high man, for idle that is. What's your fan speed set at? Try upping it manually from the CCC.

Also your driver version isn't 8.57 . I suppose you've taken the first digits from this line : Driver Packaging Version 8.573-090113a-074230C-ATI. Check the second line with the catalyst version .

You may want to keep it @ 40%. Higher than that and you may not like the noise but it'd keep your card cooler. It's a hell of a difference, one of mine idles @ 32c(fan@ 40%) and the second one @ 41c(fan @ 43%). Under load they never go north of 60c.
