brand new built system, getting 'Display driver amdkmdap stopped responding and has successfully recovered. Windows 7 64
bit SP1, ati's ULPS disabled, sapphire 7950 crossfire, regardless if gpu overclocked or not(havent tried it with default
4770k core clocks), or even gpu under clocked at 1.25v(oc version bios volt set) still have this issues 2-3 times each day,
even if i up the 2d core clocks, but this is happening in 3d core clocks, disabled all windows power saving settings, am
running ssd, i7 4770k adaptive mode on.

TDRdelay is default of 2 seconds in registry
running programs: raptr, winamp, steam, comodo firewall(defense+ off, game mode on), avast antivirus. windows sidebar
happens in any game, freezes the game, picture is still there, but thats all that happens, have to hard reset, i've
updated every driver, C++ distributable, direct3d, etc.

i am clueless after a couple months of trying to fix this problem, i cannot. the event logs are below my pc specs, also
with a dxdiag.
Also when installing 13.9 on this fresh system it installed with a yellow warning but showing no errors, i express
uninstalled and manually deleted everything ati related(including all registry values and folders/files) and did it
again, but it did the same thing, i havent gone the driver sweeper route however people say to just ignore the 'warning'
when there aren't any errors. if you know how to install it properly with a green tick please do

What im going to try:
1. green install of drivers with safe mode (device manager uninstall aswell) and driver sweeper.
2. Memtest for mem even tho its at stock
3. Stock CPU values.
4. Tdrdelay 8 (compared to 2)
5. Seppuku (lol)

What i have tried:
1. updating everything including bios
2. google chrome issues regarding gpu acceleration
3. flash acceleration in google chrome
4. removal of google chrome
5. Disabled ULPS for ati crossfire
6. Latest drivers 13.9 however not green install....
7. Stability tests
8. Setting to stock
9. Underclocking
10. Raising 2d core/mem frequencies based on 0.95v from 300/150 to 400/250.

I did the safe mode driver sweeper(and manual uninstall device manager), and installed 13.11, still get yellow warning with no errors or fails.

when disabling ULPS this time i changed all registry values to 0, there is about 10. instead of just the one under a specific folder, hopefully that helps.

If i change tdrdelay from 2 to 8 will that have any effect on gaming? i mean its a delay timeout in seconds, to prevent this freeze because the gpu is trying to fetch data from a cache or something and it times out.

Will 'Disable Desktop Composition' under Compatability tab on the game executable prevent this crash freeze issue?

What do you mean? From the action center? If so, Windows is just noting that it happened before. If it's not happening anymore, it's fixed. Just ignore the warning, as the action center is just a to-do list.

AMD driver page. Scroll down towards bottom and you'll see the following.

AMD Catalyst Control Center requires Microsoft .NET4 Framework. Windows Vista and Windows 7 users may need to install the Microsoft .NET4 Framework as a prerequisite to use Catalyst Control Center.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows 7 - 64

Not sure if it'll fix your issue or not but it does say it's required.
