Looking for any good info for discount park tickets, hotel room discounts etc.

My wife wants to go near the end of July and I'd like to see of there are any good deals out there.

Can it actually be any more hotter down in FL than it is in GA? I wouldn't think it is that much hotter. We're pretty use to it being hot/humid.

I bought my tickets from AAA, but only because I was a member already.

There are places selling tickets on every corner. The risk there is that they may be used tickets. Check out wdwmagic.com for more help. They have a forums area that might help.

Like AU Tiger says, watch out for the local ticket scams.

On International Drive in Orlando, there are a number of shops selling discount tickets with strings attached. For example, some vendors want you to visit timeshares for a short presentation and thus be subjected to high-pressure sales tactics. Other vendors require purchase of a "coupon book" with the discounted tickets. In the end, this coupon book is literally worthless and the discounted tickets cost more than gate prices.

I've not visited Disney World since 2000. Even then, I obtained complementary tickets from my brother who got those from a friend. On other occasions, I used a military discount or just paid full price.

Discounts are definitely out there though. After a fellow co-worker searched the web last year, she found some valid hotel/ticket combo packages at very reasonable prices.

I thought someone ma y know of a reputable website that seels them at a discounted price. We definately want them before we go. We don;t want to go there with hopes of finding them.
Any other info?
