Disney to use the Droid Eris as a tour guide?

Interesting concept, but I'd rather see them develop it into an application for smart phones rather then limiting it to a single device that they issue to you. For starters, the Eris is effectively dead. Second, I cannot speak for everyone, but I don't want to put my hands on something thousands of other people have handled, taken into the bath room, used while eating, etc.

An app for major smart phones, though, that'd be a pretty useful application for vacationers.

I am pretty sure they clean it. It's Disneyland. The only place in the world where a person follows every horse so poop doesn't last ten seconds there.

still...why not just make an app?

I saw a story on a restaurant that went with all iPads for their menus, that made sense since it was very high end and their wine list was a catalogue.
