Disney framed art is overpriced!!!

I'm redecorating my "reading room" and I'm thinking about putting some wooden framed Winnie the pooh pictures on the wall.... And they cost too much!!!!

I was at the local flea market and I picked up a case of 100 6 X 4 wooden frames for $20, so I'm going to print out some Winnie and friends using the color printer from work and make my own cheap frames.

Am I being cheap?

Anyone knows a good site with these pictures... maybe I should do Salvador Dali too... I heard his stuff is overpriced too.

If they don't sell anything, they have to lower their prices...but if their stuff is still overpriced, someone's obviously paying for it...

Yes they're overpriced. When I went to Disneyland last Christmas we were in this art shop at DL's California Adventures - I think the cheapest original art was about $60. Some of them went up to over $10,000!

Original artwork is expensive, my sister sells pictures for several hundred $$$ apiece & she's nowhere near the level of popularity of Disney.

i wish i had the ability to base a work off something in the public domain and then buy off gov't officials so that my work never entered the public domain

if the price of ORIGINAL artwork is too excessive, then buy the print or comparable print. There has got to be a million eeyore posters/prints available that are not the original animation cells.
