Dismissed speeding ticket still rises Insurance?

Sorry for asking this kind of question here =)

If my speeding ticket is dismissed based on my clean driving record, will my insurance still go up? I need to know to decide whether to plead guilty or to fight it.

The Traffic Tribunal told me one thing but the insurance company (GEICO) told me another.

In your experience, does a dismissed speeding ticket make your rates go up?

Huge thanks in advance for your feedback

No, it will not affect your insurance.

The ticket does not actually go on your record until you are convicted, if it's dismissed it will not go on your record, & your insurance company won't have a clue.

Here in Alabama I got a speeding ticked a couple of years ago when I was 20. I appeared in court and pleaded youthful offender and it didn't go on my record. I still had to pay it tho:(

I just got a ticket a month ago, and I just plead guilty w/ 90 days of court supervision. As long as I don't get another ticket in this 90 day window the ticket shouldn't go on my record and affect my insurance...

If your insurance company were to actually raise your rates because of that... Get a new insurance company.
