Dismembering Red Shrubs.

Shame

Platinum Member
What is the name of those small shrubs with leaves that turn red in the fall with the thorns long enough to dismember a wholly mammoth? I want to put them around the house, under the windows, as the moat is simply not cutting it anymore... 🙂

Oh wait, you said it had thorns, not sharp leaves..

Yeah. I want something in front of the windows that keeps bad guys out...

I don't knwo about bushes, but I know we had a thorn tree near our hourse growing up. That thing had 3" thorns that were razor sharp and solid wood. It was like a nail tree.

Well, no one in their right mind will walk through a holly bush. Those leaves are very sharp and tough. And, since there are about 10 points per leaf, there are a bunch of sharp points in there. It will work.

It won't turn red in the fall though.

How about this?

Wow! That doesn't look like anything I've ever seen here in Indiana. You fall in that bunch of razors and you are going to need four additional quarts pumped into you... 🙂

Hmmm. Burning Bush under the windows (assuming it has thorns) and holly on the ground... Sounds like a recipe for stitches... 😛
