Howdy,
I have a 4 disc, 7 unit changer which carries a total of 28 CD's. The unit works fine, the only problem I have is that some of the software I use requires a CD to run, and the software which came with the tower maps all the cd's as shared hard drives, not cd roms. This keeps the software from running as it always searches for a cd.
I have to use some type of software interface for the tower, as there is no hard drive built in to it and the software ID's the tower and lets me access it to map the drives.
Overall the unit was very, very easy to set up, and I like the way it operates the changers.
Any advice on how to get the drives ID'd as CD-Roms or on any other software which migh be able to accomplish the same functionality as the stock software (which handles the shuffling of the cd's as needed.)
BTW, I'm running Win2K Server.
As always, any help or insight is greatly appreciated!
Bugsy.
