Diskeeper causing slow boot up?

Ok, I installed the trial version of Diskeeper onto my Win 98 system last night and when I rebooted, it took about 10 minutes to get into Windows from the log in screen. The problem has to be releated to Diskeeper and I would like to have some possible solutions to try when I get home. So for anyone who has Diskeeper and knows what could be wrong, please let me know.

Do you have the boot scan enabled? I don't have it on the computer I am on, so I cannot tell you exactly what it is called, but check you "set it and forget it" settings, and see if something is set to run at boot up.
 
I'd say uninstall it.

Unless it does something special on first-boot-after-install, this is unacceptable performance.
