I did a format/reinstall today followed by doing that ghost backup I never got around to doing.
The problem was I selected in Diskeeper7 the Directory Consolidation and Defrag the MFT.
Rebooted diskeeper did it's thing, rebooted and windows didn't load as NTSF.SYS was missing or corrupt.
So is there any simple commands (helpful as help wasn't) when trying to repair XP? as I gave up and just reinstalled.
