just curious how other hard drives perform

i have a single 74 gig SATA 10,000 rpm raptor and my average overall score is around 12,400


please post the drive info and score.
 
It's not very consistent...

Keeps going higher as I retest:

66xx
83xx
88xx
89xx
91xx

Hmmmmm

EDIT: The above was for my 2x80GB in RAID-0. It is consistent when it tests my single 250GB Maxtor.

i noticed that at first too but found that if i am not running any applications, besides an open browser, that it is pretty consistent.

11820 - eight 250G 7200rpm drives (mix of WD and Maxtor) running RAID5 on a Broadcom RaidCore controller.
 
wow... 5400 rpm 60gb notebook drives are horrible. i'm finding it difficult to cross 1,000!!
 
although weird, i have the same issue- retesting a few times speeds it up. crossed 1,500 on the same drive that was doing 900 on my frist attempt.
