Disk imaging software recommendations?

I want to get a good disk imaging program, preferably one that will save to HD, CD, and DVD. I'm aware of Ghost, but I'd like to know what other options are out there. I don't mind paying for my software, but if there's a freeware product that is outstanding, I'm willing to try that as well.

Note: A search here for "disk imaging software" turned up nada.

Thanks!

Second to driveimage xml. Make the BartPE disk so you can image your primary OS partition. Can't beat the price and works fine.

The good options are Ghost and Trueimage but DriveImage XML also works.

If you want ISO files of DVD's/CD's you can use Alcohol 120%

Thanks for the inputs. Based on suggestions here and elsewhere, I've gone with Acronis. The interface is certainly clean; DVD imaging tonight or tomorrow.

Has DVD functionality been fixed yet?

Not sure what you mean by that. Are you asking if it can image directly to a DVD burner? I believe Build 3567 can do that.

Welp, the "feature" to image to DVD not already pre-formatted with UDF was only introduced recently and even then it was borked and users were reporting all kinds of issues which, as I recall, were still not all corrected in subsequent builds. So the question is, is the current build flawless?

As flawless as the users are. Most "borkers have had headspace problems.

Actually, that is touted as a "New" update in the newly separated "Home" and "Enterprise" editions. At $49.95. the home edition of TI9 is a ganga deal.

Acronis TI9 does SATA, Firewire, USB, etc. It can do it between any of them. In TI, SATA drives are ID'd as SCSI, but it is accurate. That is because they derive from SCSI.
