Disk event id 153 & Windows 8

Has anyone run into this before? I had no issues on Windows 7, but when I upgraded to Windows 8 I get disk errors with event id 153 in the system log.

I have SMART enabled and have scanned the disk for errors. No issues reported.

Any ideas?
 
Event ID 153 is new in Windows 8. It means that for some reason a command sent to the drive was not processed, and windows automatically resent the command. Windows 7 would retry the command, but nothing would be logged.
