Disk copying in Freebsd

I have tried Ghost from Systemworks 2002 Professional, and it balks each time, claiming the target drive is too small.
I was able to dd from one identical drive to another, in single user mode, but it only works for identical drives.
I could set up a a file system on the target drive, and do a dump and restore, but i was looking for a quick, easy fix to copy drives.
Any ideas?
Edit: I think I have solved my own problem. after attempting to ghost, it will give the error and go to a command line. If you have ghost 6.5 or later, type ghost.exe -IR or ghostpe.exe -IR , depending on version. Hit return, and it writes to the floppy, then reboots with the new configuration. Now it will do a sector-by-sector raw copy of the data.
