Disk config/partition and OS setup suggestions

Hello,

Currently boot from an 18G 15k scsi, but have a 74G 15k scsi on the way, and I plan to re-organize things a bit. Re-formatting and re-installing OS/apps is not a problem.

Do you have any suggesstions for optimal configuration?

I'm thinking of the following but please give me your input:

- OS partition on 74G drive
- second partition for apps/games
- pagefile to 18G drive
- utils and other stuff to 18G drive

Is making a dedicated partition for the OS a good thing, or should I boot from my 15G and leave my appes on the 74G?

I'm a programmer/web designer, like gaming, and do a lot of internet browsing.

Assuming the 18G is as fast as the 74G, leave the OS on the 18G and partition the 74G to accept a pagefile, backups and Apps/utils.
