need help with G4U (Ghost 4 Unix) I want to clone a partition (my boot drive) so I can save my state of files as thet are after a fresh format and driver install which I just did on my HTPC. (I'm on my main box now) but last time I did a local copy with this program it just copied all of the files to a new drive un-compressed and it looked just like my C Drive (Well I guess it did what it was supposed to do but not what I wanted it to,It can make an image but only if I upload it to an FTP Site or am I missing sometnig? can I create an image without uploading to an FTP Site with G4U) what I want it to do is copy my C:\ drive to another partition or drive compressed in a single file can that program to it? or is there another free alternative out there? I don't like norton Ghost and I don't want a program that installs on the hard drive IE I want command line dos based utility only
