Disk cleanup problem

When I run disk cleanup I get ?Disk Space Cleanup Manager for Windows has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.? I have tried copying cleanmgr.exe from another computer and still have the problem. Has anyone else had this problem?
