I'm working on a Compaq Presario 5451. The HDD is not being recognized. I get the following error: 'DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER'. After about 2-3 minutes I notice that the HDD starts to spin; I can then Ctrl Alt Del and boot into Windows. The pc locks up after it being in Windows for a bit. I've tried a different HDD and it's not recognized at all. I'm not able to see either drive in CMOS. I swapped CMOS batteries; didn't do a thing. Have any ideas?
