About to toss the whole deal. After months of constant reboots that were never correctly diagnosed or fixed, I ordered a Biostar NF61-s-M2, AMD 64X2 500)+ and 2 1GB memorys sticks hoping to upgrade and fix all problems at the same time. The board has only 1 IDE slot, I have WD IDE HD and a cd-rom IDE. I also have set my computer to boot from the cd-rom. I've tried making the cd primary, no luck, the HD primary, no luck, did the appropriate cable select or jumper settings according to WD. The screen show up with the hardware monitor from Biostar listing all the voltages, but wont allow the cd to install because of the boot failure. I re-did the boot from after POST option onscreen and again listed the cd-rom with no luck. I've allso tried 3 cables and cleared the cmos. After months of this crap, it has no idea how close its getting to becoming scrap metal. Biostar site didnt give me any help and customer support wont be there on weekends. What the hell?
