Alright, so my rig was working just fine before I went in to reroute some water cooling tubing. Obviously I unplugged almost all of the devices from the motherboard and disconnected the power supply. So, I plug everthing back in when I finish and try to boot up my machine... and I get the "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER" message. So, I did the following:

1)Double checked the boot order in my bios and I've tried just about every boot order there is
2)Made sure that my devices were all properly installed and plugged in
3)Switched my HD SATA cables just to see what would happen
4)Tried to put in a bootable disk... ala my OS install disk but not even that will not allow me to boot up.

What is going on here? Anyone out there have any ideas? Here are my system specs:

DFI LanParty UT SLI-DR Expert
X2 4800+
Enermax Liberty 620w
2 Plextor slot loading DVD writers
WD Raptor 150gb (OS loaded)
2 WD caviear se16 500gb
X-fi platinum
2 7900gtx (sli)

well, i don't know much about water-cooled systems, but it sounds like you might have bumped your HD while you were adjusting the tubing. did you try to put another drive in? i realize it's a pain but it would quickly identify the source of the problem. also, have you tried booting from a floppy? another annoying procedure, i understand, but those are the two things i would try. maybe somebody else can help you out more. i wanted to respond because i know how frustrating it is when nobody answers!
