Dish washer causing audiable noise on PC power supply

So there is a dish washer in my house and whenever it runs, it causes my PC's power supply to 'buzz'. It's not a loud buzz but it is audible if you place your head next to the PC.

Should I pay any mind to this or just ignore it?

How old is your PS? I used to have a pretty poorly shielded/cheap PS that would buzz whenever I turned my microwave on.

Newer well shielded PS shouldn't make that noise, but normally this is only an annoyance and doesn't hurt your computer.

Wow you replied quickly, only a 2 minute difference from when I posted.

It's a Antec TPQ-850 v1.1 and is maybe about 3-ish years old. I'm happy that I don't have to replace it (tidying up power supply wires is the worst part of builds).

How close is the dishwasher to the computer? What rooms? How far apart are the rooms? What model dishwasher?

Ensure each device is on its own separate circuit (as per the fuse box).

It isn't completely uncommon for devices that use a lot of power to cause these sort of things. Refrigerators can have the same effect.

In the house I'm currently renting, there is a dimmer switch that isn't setup properly for florescent light bulbs. When that light switch is on my computer PSU buzzes. It is a result of harmonic distortion on the lines.

As far as I know it isn't dangerous, just annoying.
