That didn't take much convincing.
There's a 69.99 sunday ticket, premium channel, all sorts of crap I don't need deal going on right now.
So I'm signing up.

Didn't someone say exactly the opposite in another thread?
No HD, so I don't know.
The one who offers a HD DVR?

I have Dish now and have had Direct in the past.
Right now, I have the 942 receiver and only get a handful of HD channels. But they look great on my 50" Panny. Not sure what Direct has in the way of HD.
For football, I'd definetly go with Direct.

I have a 52" DLP, hdtv content is a must.
Football in all it's hd glory is an absolute must.
Aside from that, I really don't care if there's anything else on it.
Which way do I go?

Thanks Boat.
I had to have the nfl package, went with DirectTV.
As it turns out, my football won't be in HD, yet.
I'm in the Johnstown market and the HD availability is lousy.
It's supposed to ramp up at any time and HD football content will/should be more widely available as the season goes on.
