Dish Network v Comcast

Modeps

Lifer
Dish Network seems to offer a pretty comparable deal to comcast's digital cable / dvr... Dish Network is about $10 cheaper, and they give you a 100hr DVR instead of comcast's 30hr DVR. Anyone have experience Dish Network's service and/or DVR?

Comcast's DVR is basically a tapeless VCR and isn't smart at all (I set it to record all of Chappelle's Shows, and I get about 5 copies of the same show in a week)

Remember, dish network requires a reciever for each connection. While that's true with comcast to get DIGITAL, you usually can get the video in other outlets, just in analog form.

If you have only 1-3 rooms to hook up and a good southern exposure that's not going to change, go with Dish Network. Mount your dish well and you'll rarely experience rain fade, only during the heaviest downpours (my parents have lost the signal once in three years)
