Dish Network Question

I am going to a ranch cabin this weekend that used to have Dish Network. My folks canceled Dish so there is no receiver but the the satelite is still in place. If i take one of my extra Dish receivers from my house that has an active account will it work?
 
Yes (assuming the receiver uses the same sat).

I have a client that does this. Has a house boat and a house. He just piggy backs his house boat on his home account.

Just activated it and told them he doesn't have a phoneline for the 2nd receiver (extra $5 a month). So he only gets 1 bill.
 

Excellent. Yes both are Dish Network. Should make the evenings more entertaining for the kids.
