Dish 500 question ...

Hello,

I got Dish 500 and ppl said that I don't need a switch, b/c there's already one .... we connected 119 cable to reciever, but when we go to installation, it gets 119 satellite fine, but on 110 it says : "Wrong satellite: 119 Echostar" ...

how are we suppose to get 110 satellite ?

I just installed our dish system an am having the same problem... Please reply with your advice.

6.)Dish 500 dual LNBFs. Found satellite 119 but no signal on 110. Problem You found 119 with the 110 LNBF and the 119 LNBF is pointing at nothing. Look for it again about 8-10 degrees further East. Go back and check mounting pole for vertical plumb with level. Double check accuracy of elevation angle and skew. Be sure you started by only connecting and peaking left hand LNBF (from rear of dish).
