Just talked to my mom on the phone. She said that her and my dad went to Super K-Mart (regular retail + groceries/produce) earlier this week to buy some stuff. Well while there, my mom needed to go to the bathroom and couldn't hold it so she went to their restrooms...
Well, she gets in there and the first thing to hit her is he stench. She opens the first stall and there is feces ALL OVER THE stall walls and toilet. All over the floor, everywhere. She said she nearly threw up right then and there. She really needed to go, so she went to the next stall and it was the SAME WAY. Third stall was locked. She goes to the handicap stall and there is crap feces all over the walls.
At this point my mom is fed up so she goes to the customer service desk to speak to the manager. She comes out and my mom tells her "Do you realize that you people have filthy and disgusting bathrooms?" The woman replies, "Oh that? It's like that everyday." She then told my mom that she could leave a note and they would take a look into it. WTF? They'd probably just throw the note in the trash.
So my mom speaks to one of the greeters on the way out and the greeter said that she doesn't even use the bathrooms there anymore. She said that if the employees complain, they do nothing. They only do anything if the customers complain (yeah, that appears to be working just fine:roll😉
So when my mom got home, she called the health department. I think they transferred her to health and sanitation and she was able to talk to someone. They had just gone to the K-Mart LAST MONTH for the same problem. They had to get a pressure washer in there to clean the walls that time. Regardless, they said that they would send someone out to have a look.
That being said, if employees are using those restrooms, wouldn't the people in the meat/produce department be using those same restrooms? AHHH, I don't even want to think about it!!! AHHHH.
And my mom never told me if she used the restroom...I don't even wanna know :Q
