Disgaea 3 Thread (potential spoilers)

Releases today. I'm taking a half personal day myself. Anyone else super excited?

I'm _excited_, but I'm going to hold off a bit before buying it. Still have to finish Disgaea 1 and 2. I do like the $40 price.

I love 1. Still play it to level my majins and get some of the ultimate weapons. . I didn't like 2 and I'm probably not going to bother with 3 at all.

It's actually $50 for disgaea 3. I never beat 1 but I liked how the difficulty was insane if you didn't know what you were doing, I have bought 3 from amazon and look forward to getting it.

I never played Disgea 1 or 2 but when I looked up D3, it looked very "cutsie". Apparently D3 is a 3D version but looks like it might be fun. I'm not that into the super real life hard core violent games.

eh ? what do you mean by super real life hardcore violent games ? It is definately described as a hardcore rpg but it's not realistic at all and I guess it is violent but not blood and gore violence just some magic effects violence.

Got to chapter 3 last night. I really like Mao. I never liked Adell or Rosalin in 2, but so far I like all of the characters.

Did a bunch of item worlding last night and only got to chapter 5. So far the story is really good. I dunno that any Disgaea story could beat Disgaea 1's, but 3 is definitely far better than 2.
