Discussion about beds and backs

I was wondering if anyone knew about what type of bed you're supposed to get if you have lower back pain. I hurt my lower back about a month ago and it still hasn't gone away totally yet. Actually, on my vacation last weekend it got a lot better. Now this morning, after sleeping in my 'medium firmness' bed, my back hurts a lot more.

Is medium firmness bad for a sore back? Should I get a firmer bed?
