I thought ".....maybe I should remind him that this isn't to be discussed at all" (beyond the fact I think its unethical~)
Of course I can understand....expensive media and all. I won't move to BR or HDDVD until prices are cheap and I get movies for 15 bucks new like with DVD.
But THEN he proceeds to take it a step further
So just in a single post he talks about how to get every single HD movie released, a service that you can pay for that will let you download this fast, and ironically talk about encrypting movies that have no been released...HA!
I reallly think this is crossing the line - quite a few guys on AT it seems work in these industries or software in general, and it is a big dis service for these people who work hard to discuss HOW to obtain this.
I hope I don't come off as one acts "holier than thou" or a "puritan"...as I'm not
Discussing piracy is OK. Telling others how to do it will get you knocked back into the stone age.

Also I was very interested in the new HD decode acceleration as I wanted to start downloading HD movie rips.

err I'm not sure you're allowed to say specifically where you can download HD DVD/Blu-Ray images from but if you use newsgroups (as I do) a quick search through something like newsleecher's super search facility (which searches all newsgroups for you) will net you just about every HD movie released in either format.
But remember you need a decent USENET newsgroups service which you'll have to pay for. I use giganews ( http://www.giganews.com ) as it's good value and it always easily maxes out my 10mb connection which is essential when downloading 25GB+ files (it also offers 256bit ssl encrytion on all downloads).
Also there are high quality 1080P HDTV movie encodes of so far unreleased favs like all 6 star wars films (ep3's opening space battle is a thing to behold in 1080P), blade runner, LOTR etc floating about...
