no n0c, the detective was a male... zimzum, I don't know.. i look it up now.

Edit: No, that's not it. The main character had a hat like a detective, you know like dick tracey only it was grey... You would search the hallways looking at clues... I can't remember a whole lot more than that, other than I remember he used to talk to you (the user) i think.
