Discrete GPU with Intel 3770K

I've read on this, but I'm not sure I have a definitive answer. If connect one monitor to the integrated GPU of the 3770K and another monitor into a discrete GPU, will Quick Sync of the 3770K be disabled? Or is it only disable if I have no display connected to one of the 3770K graphics ports?

You only lose QuickSync if the iGPU isn't in use. So having a monitor attached to it will be enough (and otherwise there's Lucid Virtu).
