I watch "Wingnuts" and "American Casino" on The Discovery Channel. In the past few weeks, I've noticed that there have been deaths associated with both shows. As I looked into it, I found one more.

Tim Roberts - "Wingnuts" - October 11, 2004 - "natural causes"

Michael Tata - "American Casino" - Juy 6, 2004 - alcohol and Fentanyl (Rx painkiller) found in his system

Indian Larry - "Great Biker Build-Off" - August 30, 2004 - motorcycle stunt (no helmet)

Anyone want to join a reality TV show on The Discovery Channel?

That's the problem with reality TV....the writers kill someone off in the script and the Studio heads take it seriously.

At least the hired goons can feed their children this christmas.

and yes, my comments sound more coherent than most of DC's programming...

wingnuts and american casino sucked anyway.
American chopper is entertaining because the people yelling and screaming have actual personalities.

Didn't Tim Roberts spontaneously combust?

Did you know that the air inside your house can up to 5 times worse than the air outside?

Does anybody remember the days when the Discovery Channel showed educational programming, and TLC showed something other than Trading Spaces, House Swap (aka Trading Spaces), and While You Were Out (aka Trading Spaces)?

Yeah seriously. TLC used to have better programming than Discovery sometimes. The innocence I loved these channels with as a kid is long gone. Now even discovery and TLC sold out. Oh well, at least there is History Channel.

Yep - That's when i used to like them and watch those channels (Beyond 2000?......Secret Life of machines?.....where did you go?)

Now I watch the Science Channel (Discovery Science now?) but that is not immune to its share of BS shows.

It better not be Mikey! He's the only person I can stand on AC. Too much drama with everyone else. Plus he loves Ween.

Bwahahahah!!!

That little money grubbing ho (Nina) very quickly took that oppritunity to try and slide herself in Tata's place and the boss wasn't havin' that.

I can't bring myself to watch American Casino (is it still airing?).

Wing Nuts was okay. I only watched to see what that moron Tim would do next to undermine the business. Did anyone see the picture of Tim when he was in the "Hair band"? It made me cry I laughed so hard.

American Chopper is good because it reminds me of how my Dad and I used to fight, but we'd throw down once in awhile. Jr. and Sr. are all talk, on camera at least.

I used to love the Discovery Channel. Great programs about science and nature. I live in the Midwest - I don't have to turn on the TV to watch dumb rednecks bickering about motorcycles.

They are going to air a car builder show too. I think they just jumped the shark.

No.

"Natural causes" would be something along the lines of his heart stopped beating and that caused him to die. The part about why his heart stopped is left out... but if you watch the show, you might clue in on what might have happened.

I like American Casino. I wish Wingnuts didn't have so many damn commercials, and I wonder why they don't get rid of Tim Roberts (no longer and issue later in the series).

Mikey is the only reason I'll watch American Chopper. Otherwise, the work they do and the yelling gets on my nerves.

I like the Extreme Engineering series a lot.

I don't watch any of the home decorating/remodeling shows. They make me want to kill people.
