Got an application in the mail saying that I'm pre-approved for one of these credit cards. If I do get this, it will be my first credit card. I use a VISA check card for most if not all purchases. They are offering me 0% APR till Aug 2002 if I sign up and a very low APR after that. Question is, are Discover cards any good? Don't most places only take VISA/MC/AMEX? Anyone have this card? Im seriously considering a credit card as of late since I find myself dipping into my savings acct. more than I'd like. 🙁
 
Better your savings acct taking a hit than your credit history. if you can' t even keep up with your savings account i suggest you dont rely on a credit card.
