No longer have to wait for the anniversary date.
Logon to your account manager and request for a check or credit to your account.

Fyi -- starting with this new program the cashback bonus can only by requested in increments of $20. Not HOT, if you don't use your card much.

At the bottom of the statement it also says that you can get a certificate at certain merchantsfor double the amount. I don't have it available, the only one I remember for sure was Royal Caribean Cruise

Interesting...I never new you could request the cashback award. They just send us one every year. $68 this time. Not bad.

The request part is new. Back at the beginning of the year they sent out a letter saying that this was the great new Cashback bonus, then of course came the "bone-us" portion where they changed the amounts and played with the percentages so that I now get next to nothing back instead of the $300 a year I got last year, but considering they've never earned a dime of interest off me then I guess I'm making out.

If you guys have the platinum card, you can cash in your points with their platinum partners and they'll send you a certificate worth double your cash back bonus. Dell just happens to be one of the platinum partners :)

Is there a yearly "dollar amount" limit for cash back from Discover? The Discover phone solicitors don't even know this one.

My First USA cash back card has changed its rewards program. So I'm scouting for another good one to run charges through ;)
