Discover Card cashback for sharper images?

ok, i think i'm going to try this, but not sure yet.

As you may know, they only limit one card per purchase now, so you can't combine multiple cards.

What if i purchase one item, then return it. I should be able to get a normal store credit? then i could stack them and buy a bigger item?

its not an offer, its Discover Cards Reward Program. you spend money, they give you 1% back, you can either cash it out straight or double it at certain stores like sharper image.

$10 becomes $20. etc. but the amounts to be redeemed are small.

i've combined my sharper image cards from discover to purchase my ipod without any problems.

so i guess this varies by store then, was this recently? how many u combine? 3 $80s? i wouldnt mine getting an ipod, or the massage chairs or some sort of fan. i can make $200 cashback i would like to redeem. i guess i'm going to give it a shot.

They changed their policy..

The giftcard you get from Discover cannot be combined with other giftcards..

they had the same restrictions when i used my gift cards, but the two stores i went to did not enforce it. i forgot the denomination that i used, but it was a hassle free transaction on both accounts.
