Disconnect RAID array

So I disconnect the RAID array so I can boot from some other drives todo some maintenence, and once I plug them back in what happens? Is my data still there? Do I have to recreate the array?

All that I can tell you is what little that I know. When I have disconnected only 1 of the drives, by accident, after reconnecting it, if I have done anything on the active drive that makes it differ from the one disconnected, I get a screen that offers the option to rebuild it. If nothing was changed, it continues normally. I would assume that if you simply disconnect both drives and change nothing in the bios, that when you reconnect that they will work normally. But, remember that this is half knowledge and half guess.

What type of RAID array is it? And are you going to be removing all of the drives on the array?

RAID-0.. yes all the drives...

Basically what I'm doing is setting up Windows on my Raptor, and when I do so I don't want my other drives plugged in so nothing will get messed up. Once I'm done installing drivers, I'll plug my 7200.10s in and what not... (Raptor = boot drive)

Nothing will change.

As always, be sure to have backups of any important files....just in case something bad happens when playing with the RAID array.
