Disconnect monitor

Have a p-3 running seti, don't want to lose production on this machine. But I need a monitor to set-up another machine. Seti Driver does not auto-run at boot. Would it be ok to carefully disconnect monitor from video card while running. I would think it may be ok as long as I shut down that machine before reconnecting. Any ideas?
Thanks

Its perfectly fine 😉 I've done it numerous times, as have others. If it means you can get more machines up and running, go for it.

Thanks guy, I've done it a time or two. Was not really comfortable with it though. Guess I was looking for some peace of mind.
Thanks again 🙂

Why doesn't Seti Driver auto boot? You can put its icon in your startup folder on the start menu to make it do so.

As everyone else has said it should be fine. I've got two machines that I swap the monitor back and forth on while their running. I do have to wonder though why you don't have seti driver running on startup?😕
