"if this is a repost, i apologize. searched using the following terms: mace, movie, cell

if this indeed a repost, please post a link to the original thread, and i will happily ask for a close. "

If I'm posting a link to a story or a joke etc then I always say sorry in advance if it's a repost and have no problem with the thread being closed if it is so I voted yes

Chances are, if you think it might be a repost, then it probably is.

I've no problems with "Repost Police", PROVIDING they provide a link to the original thread.

Confused

No, the Repost Police need to get a life and quit whining about reposts. What really needs to happen is people using a coherent thread title that would relate to the topic at hand and make it easier to find in a search.

The only time reposts even remotely bother me is if the same thing gets posted repeatedly in one day, like the Cambridge research thing with the misspelled words.

Otherwise, WHO CARES? A lot of reposts I've seen were stuff that I had not seen before. The OT section is so active, threads get bumped to the top or sink to the bottom very quickly at times, so if a repost brings up something I've not seen yet, then so be it.
