Disappearing Task bar? Windows 7

I have lost my task bar twice recently for no apparent reason.The only way to get it back was to restart windows 7.Any one know what is happening here or how to get it back without restarting?

Explorer's dying? If so you can ctrl-alt-delete to bring up task manager, and start a new task of explorer. I don't know what's causing it though.

If you have auto hide turned on, turn it off.

CTRL+SHFT+ESC will do it without going to the security screen.

Both suggestions don't work. My Windows Live email also stops working and needs to be restarted.Windows support hasn't helped.

I believe I have found the problem. It is related to a new screen saver i was using. I found similar complaints on Windows 7 forum also connected to a screen saver. I removed that screen saver and all is normal now.
