Are there any disadvantages of using Dynamic disks on a Windows XP machine used for storing files, OS, and gaming machine? I know that anything before 2000 cannot "see" a dynamic disk, which is not a big deal.
Plus if you want to go back to Basic , you have to backup all you stuff otherwise its gone BABY ! YOU CANT INSTALL WINDOWS ON A DISK THAT WAS IS NATIVE DYNAMIC ! ! ! ! You can install it on a upgraded BASIC --> Dynamic Disk.
If you have a single large disk , there should be little or no reason to go for dynamic disks
